The Purpose of Learning on Location

The Learning on Location (LOL) team at Region 10 provides K-12 educators an experiential environment that supports learning and content development beyond of the walls of a classroom or professional development training room.

 We offer LOL in a variety of ways to meet the needs of our teachers. Guided LOL sessions provide onsite learning with a Region 10 consultant serving as the facilitator. Independent LOL sessions provide opportunities for small groups of educators to meet at a chosen location, brainstorm ideas, and then collaboratively create an interdisciplinary unit to use at their campus. Finally, we work with campus administrators to provide an LOL experience for different departments or an entire campus staff.
